For recovery professionals and services

A practical recovery companion you can look through first

12steps brings together the small, repeatable parts of working a 12-step programme. The read-only tour and meeting finder are public, so you can see what you would be sharing.

The practical bits

What it includes

Daily check-ins, morning and nightly inventories, gratitude, journalling, guided step work, readings, reminders, milestones and help for difficult moments sit in one place.

People moving from My Spiritual Toolkit can import journals, spot-check inventories, nightly inventories and gratitude lists. Entries keep their original dates, and a repeat import does not create duplicates.

A real privacy choice

Personal recovery content is encrypted before it syncs.

  • Standard mode allows email password reset.
  • Private mode keeps the encryption key on the member's device. We cannot read their personal work or reset their password.

Peer-support requests and replies are shared content, so responders and moderators can see them.

Exact meeting coverage

The finder covers AA meetings in London, NA meetings across the UK and CA meetings worldwide, including online meetings. It filters by day, time, distance, format and fellowship.

The wider app supports AA, NA, CA, SA, SAA, SLAA, GA, OA, DA and Al-Anon, adapting its language and tools to the fellowship selected by the member.
